Schools. Southlake is served primarily by Carroll ISD, an independent district built around Carroll Senior High School (the "Dragons") — a nationally ranked public high school and a 6A football powerhouse. Westlake Academy, a K-12 IB public charter, is adjacent in Westlake and draws Southlake families. Private options in the immediate area include Clariden School, and the broader north-Tarrant independent-school market. Small portions of Southlake are also zoned to Grapevine-Colleyville ISD and Keller ISD.

Hospitals. Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southlake (1545 E. Southlake Blvd.) is the town's primary inpatient hospital. Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Grapevine is 10-15 minutes east in Grapevine, Medical City Las Colinas is 20 minutes south in Irving, and Texas Health HEB is 15 minutes south in Bedford. Gateway Church weekend services (Saturday evening, Sunday morning) flood 114 between White Chapel and Kirkwood, and Carroll football home games at Dragon Stadium (Friday nights in fall) do the same around 1709 — we pre-plan pickups around both. Southlake Town Square's Stars & Stripes (July 4) and Art in the Square (late April/early May) generate demand spikes; we pre-book aggressively. Thanksgiving-week Dallas Cowboys game traffic through Grapevine on 114 also adds time — we route via SH 121 / 360 instead.
