What does the 17-Mile Drive cost?
$11.75 per vehicle (2026 rate, paid at gate) — included in your tour pricing. Provides scenic coastal access through Pebble Beach with stops at Bird Rock, the Lone Cypress, and Spanish Bay.
Can we visit Pebble Beach golf course?
Yes — drive past on 17-Mile Drive. The Pebble Beach Lodge and golf shop are open to public. Tee times require advance booking and are not included in our tour. Photo stops at the iconic 18th hole are easily arranged.
What about lunch?
Recommend lunch on Cannery Row in Monterey or in downtown Carmel. We can book reservations at popular spots like The Tinnery (Cannery Row), Casanova (Carmel), or Forge in the Forest. Alternatively, picnic at Bixby Bridge with a panoramic Big Sur preview.
Can the tour go to Big Sur?
Yes, optionally extends 1-2 hours. Bixby Bridge and Pfeiffer Beach are 30-45 min south of Carmel. Best as a 12-hour tour or two-day trip with overnight in Carmel.
What vehicle is best for this tour?
Black SUV (Escalade, Navigator) for groups up to 6 — comfortable for the 4-hour total drive plus stops. Sprinter vans for 8-14. The coast road has tight curves; we recommend our standard SUV over stretch vehicles.
