Welcome to Staten Island Airport Limo and Black SUV Car Service

Our Airport Limo and Black SUV Service for Staten Island

Airport Commuter provides SAFE and DEPENDABLE black-car service between Staten Island and every New York-area airport through our vetted New York affiliate network. Staten Island (Richmond County) is NYC's southernmost and least densely populated borough, home to about 495,000 residents across 58 square miles. Uniquely in NYC, Staten Island is geographically closer to Newark (EWR) than any other borough — EWR is often a 25–40 minute run via the Goethals or Bayonne Bridge. JFK is 35–55 minutes via the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge; LGA is 40–60 minutes via Verrazzano and BQE.

Staten Island was settled by the Dutch in the 1660s. It remained mostly rural and suburban until the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge opened in 1964, connecting it to Brooklyn and spurring a population boom. The Staten Island Ferry (free, 25-minute crossing between St. George and Whitehall in Manhattan) is one of the most iconic and heavily used public services in NYC, carrying 22 million passengers annually with unparalleled views of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, and the Manhattan skyline.

Major Staten Island landmarks include the Staten Island Ferry and St. George Ferry Terminal, Historic Richmond Town (a restored colonial village), the Staten Island Zoo, Staten Island Museum, Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Botanical Garden (former 1831 retired-sailors' home on 83 acres), the Jacques Marchais Museum of Tibetan Art, Fort Wadsworth (oldest military installation in the US continuously used since 1663), Conference House (1680), and the Alice Austen House.

Staten Island is served by NYC public schools plus a cluster of strong private options. The College of Staten Island (CUNY) is the main public higher-education campus; Wagner College, Saint John's University (Staten Island campus), and St. John's University are also on the island. Private K-12 options include Staten Island Academy (the island's oldest independent school), Monsignor Farrell, St. Joseph by-the-Sea, and Moore Catholic. Major hospitals include Staten Island University Hospital (Northwell), Richmond University Medical Center, and Raritan Bay Medical Center.

Outdoor Staten Island is more extensive than visitors expect. The Staten Island Greenbelt (2,800+ acres, the largest park in NYC and third-largest in the city system overall after Pelham Bay and Van Cortlandt) includes Willowbrook Park, High Rock Park, and LaTourette Park. Other major parks include Clove Lakes Park, Silver Lake Park, and Great Kills Park (part of the Gateway National Recreation Area). South Beach, Midland Beach, and the FDR Boardwalk (2.5 miles) provide ocean-front recreation.

Neighborhoods we serve regularly include St. George (near the ferry terminal and Richmond County Bank Ballpark), Stapleton and Tompkinsville (the "North Shore" cultural districts), Todt Hill (the wealthiest neighborhood and highest natural point on the Atlantic seaboard south of Maine), Emerson Hill, Grymes Hill, Randall Manor, Lighthouse Hill, New Dorp, Great Kills, Eltingville, Annadale, and Tottenville (the southernmost point in NYC).

Major Staten Island employers include Staten Island University Hospital (Northwell), Richmond University Medical Center, the Staten Island Mall, Empire Outlets (a major outlet shopping redevelopment at St. George), the College of Staten Island, NYC Department of Transportation (Ferry operations), and the National Lighthouse Museum. Tech and creative companies have begun moving into the Bay Street Corridor redevelopment along the waterfront.

Drive times from Staten Island: EWR 25–40 minutes via Goethals or Bayonne Bridge (the closest of any borough to EWR), JFK 35–55 minutes via Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge and Belt Parkway, LGA 40–60 minutes via Verrazzano and BQE, HPN about 70–85 minutes north via GWB or Throgs Neck. EWR is almost always the airport of choice for Staten Island clients — it's closer, cheaper to access (no Verrazzano toll going toward Staten Island), and usually faster.

Dispatcher tip: for EWR from anywhere on Staten Island, the Goethals Bridge and NJ Turnpike is the standard route; during the morning rush, Bayonne Bridge to Kennedy Boulevard to I-78 W is sometimes faster. The Verrazzano-Narrows is the only bridge to the rest of NYC, so any delay at that toll plaza cascades. For early JFK flights we recommend leaving Staten Island at 4:00 AM. The Outerbridge Crossing to Perth Amboy is our backup route when Goethals or Bayonne traffic is stopped.

Beyond airport runs we handle Staten Island Ferry-to-business-meeting transportation (many SI residents commute to Manhattan for work), Yankees stadium transportation from Staten Island, wedding transportation (Snug Harbor, Historic Richmond Town, the Vanderbilt at South Beach, and the Staaten host Staten Island weddings), medical transport to Staten Island University Hospital, corporate charters to the Bay Street Corridor and Empire Outlets, and point-to-point limousine service throughout the five boroughs and New Jersey. Staten Island by the numbers. Staten Island is New York City's greenest and most suburban borough, a place of single-family neighborhoods, marinas, and the Todt Hill ridge, with a borough-wide median sale price around $725,000 to $750,000 as of spring 2026. There is no single zoned high school; the borough is served by NYC Public Schools, and its standout public option is Staten Island Technical High School in New Dorp, one of the city's specialized (SHSAT) high schools. Crime is the lowest of any NYC borough — roughly half the citywide rate — and our chauffeurs still confirm door pickups for early flights as a matter of routine. For flights, EWR is the natural choice at just 25–40 minutes via the Goethals or Bayonne Bridge (closer than from any other borough), JFK is 35–55 minutes via the Verrazzano and Belt Parkway, LGA is 40–60 minutes, and HPN is about 70–85 minutes north.
