JFK is almost always the Brooklyn airport of choice given proximity.

Dispatcher tip: the Belt Parkway to JFK is reliably the best route outside morning rush. Between 7–9 AM, Atlantic Avenue and Linden Boulevard can sometimes beat the Belt, especially from central Brooklyn. From northern Brooklyn (Williamsburg, Greenpoint), the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway to LIE to Van Wyck works well. For EWR from Park Slope or DUMBO, the Brooklyn Bridge to Holland Tunnel is faster than Verrazzano outside rush hour; during rush, Verrazzano sometimes wins.
