Northwest portions of the city are zoned to Carroll ISD or Northwest ISD depending on subdivision.

Hospitals. Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Grapevine (1650 W. College St.) is the city's primary acute-care hospital. Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southlake is 10 minutes north, Texas Health HEB is 10 minutes south in Bedford, and Medical City Las Colinas is 15 minutes southeast in Irving. For the Gaylord Texan and Lake Grapevine north-shore hotels we prefer the SH 121 / SH 26 approach rather than International Parkway — faster and avoids the DFW toll plaza queue on busy mornings. ICE! at the Gaylord Texan and the city's 40 Days of Christmas season (mid-November through early January) bring significant traffic and long valet queues at the Gaylord — we pre-stage in the secondary lot and communicate by phone rather than idling at the porte-cochere. GrapeFest (September, largest wine festival in the Southwest) and the Main Street Fest (May) close portions of Main Street; we use William D. Tate / Hall-Johnson for downtown pickups during those weekends.
