Lahey Hospital & Medical Center (neighboring Burlington, 15 minutes north — Beth Israel Lahey Health, a major tertiary academic medical center with Level II trauma) is Lexington's primary hospital. Emerson Hospital is 15 minutes west in Concord. Mount Auburn Hospital is 15 minutes east in Cambridge. Newton-Wellesley Hospital is 25 minutes south.
