Redwood Middle School and the K-5 schools of the Saratoga Union School District feed into it. Private options are unusually strong: Sacred Heart School Saratoga (K-8, Catholic), Saint Andrew's Episcopal School (K-8), Challenger School, and the innovative Bullis Charter School nearby. West Valley College (community, 143-acre campus on Fruitvale Avenue) is a highly-ranked transfer institution.

Hospitals. Good Samaritan Hospital (San Jose, 5-8 minutes) is Saratoga's nearest full-service hospital — strong cardiac, neuroscience, and maternity care. El Camino Hospital Los Gatos is 8-10 minutes east. Stanford Hospital is 25 minutes north via 85 — Level I trauma, top-10 U.S. News. Kaiser Permanente Santa Clara is 15 minutes north.
