Major nearby private schools: Junipero Serra High School (San Mateo, Tom Brady's alma mater), Notre Dame High School Belmont, Mercy High School Burlingame, and Crystal Springs Uplands School in Hillsborough. Higher education: College of San Mateo 10 minutes west and Stanford 25 minutes south.

Airport drive times from Foster City. SFO: 15–20 minutes (10 miles via US-101 north + I-380).
