Hospitals. Mills-Peninsula Medical Center on El Camino Real is Burlingame's primary hospital — Sutter Health's Peninsula flagship, Level II trauma-designated, Magnet-recognized nursing. For specialty care, the closest major centers are Stanford Hospital (15 minutes south via 101) and UCSF Parnassus / Mission Bay (20 minutes north).
